Henry Ramos has hit a lot of homers in his professional career -- 115, to be exact, between the Majors (one), Minors (89) and foreign leagues (25).

But certainly none are like the one he shot into the St. Paul, Minn., sky on Thursday night.

Batting in the top of the sixth inning for Triple-A Louisville, Ramos jumped on a first-pitch sinker down the pipe and crushed it 495 feet to left-center. It was the second-longest homer hit at Triple-A since Statcast began tracking distances in 2022, trailing only Jo Adell (514 feet) on June 20.

Ramos pummeled the ball at 108 mph, his fourth-hardest contact made on the year, and the ball just kept carrying. It hung in the air for 6.18 seconds and kept flying until it shot over CHS Field's outfield berm and beyond any fan's grasp.

The 31-year-old knew it was a no-doubter immediately, too, as he hung his bat in the air and flipped it over home plate. A worthy celebration for one of the biggest bops of the season.
