Here's a look at Friday's top performers from Arizona Fall League and Winter League action.

Angels: Eric Torres, LHP (Unranked), Scottsdale Scorpions
In a complete bullpen effort for Scottsdale on Friday, Torres punched out three of the five men he faced, allowing just one batter to reach on a walk in his 1 1/3 innings of work. While walks have been an issue for the 24-year-old hurler -- he's surrendered seven in 6 1/3 frames this fall -- he has yet to allow a run while punching out 12 in six appearances.

Padres: Tirso Ornelas, OF (No. 30), Mayos de Navojoa
Enmanuel Pinales, RHP (Unranked), Peoria Javelinas
Following a strong campaign between Double-A San Antonio and Triple-A El Paso, Ornelas has gotten off to a bit of a slow start in the Mexican Pacific League for Mayos de Navojoa. His performance on Friday night, which saw him go 3-for-4 with a double and a stolen base, appeared to be a return to form for the 23-year-old.

Pinales worked two perfect innings and earned the win for the Javelinas on Friday afternoon, striking out three batters between the seventh and eighth innings. The 22-year-old righty has held the opposition scoreless in three outings this fall, including each of his past two appearances. He's coming off a solid season spent between the Arizona Complex League and Single-A Lake Elsinore -- he went 3-0 with a 2.87 ERA in 37 2/3 innings with the latter.

Rays: Shane Sasaki, OF (Unranked), Peoria Javelinas
The 23-year-old put together a standout performance batting out of the nine-spot for Peoria, going 3-for-4 with a triple and three RBIs. He also added a pair of stolen bases in a game that featured 11 total swiped bags between Mesa and Peoria, pushing his Fall League total to 12. Sasaki has five hits over his past two contests, with a pair of three-baggers and three stolen bases. A 2019 third-round selection, Sasaki slashed .299/.379/.463 in 309 plate appearances this season with seven home runs and 16 steals.

Royals: Rylan Kaufman, LHP (Unranked), Surprise Saguaros
The southpaw pitched 2 1/3 perfect frames on Friday night, striking out two for his second consecutive scoreless appearance out of the Surprise bullpen. While he's given up four runs in six outings so far this fall, three of those runs came in just one appearance. He's posted zeros in four appearances.

Yankees: Caleb Durbin, 2B (Unranked), Mesa Solar Sox
Following up his breakout performance this season between High-A Hudson Valley and Double-A Somerset, Durbin has been on a tear through 20 games this fall. The Yankees farmhand put on a clinic with a two-hit, three-stolen base effort on Friday. The 23-year-old, who will represent the Bronx Bombers in Sunday's Fall Stars Game, leads the circuit with 17 steals, while also boasting a sterling .329 batting average and a .985 OPS through 91 plate appearances.

Durbin and No. 7 A's prospect Max Muncy each contributed three steals to Mesa's record-setting total of nine, which is the most by a team in a single Fall League game since at least 2005 (as far back as official records go). More »
