CHICAGO – Chicago White Sox Charities (CWSC) is honoring Hall of Fame legend and fan-favorite catcher Carlton Fisk with a limited-edition bobblehead. The exclusive collectible item benefits CWSC and is available for purchase now at whitesox.com/bobble (while supplies last).

Commemorating his No. 72 jersey retirement following 13 seasons with the White Sox from 1981-93, the bobblehead features the 11-time All-Star and three-time Silver Slugger Award-winning catcher posed, mask and mitt in hand, in the team’s iconic 1983 uniform. “Pudge,” as he was affectionately nicknamed during his more than two-decade career in Major League Baseball, ranks second all-time in games caught (2,226) and third in home runs (351) by a catcher. The White Sox retired his jersey in 1997 and unveiled a statue for fans at Guaranteed Rate Field in 2005.

The popular bobblehead collectible is available for $40 each with all net proceeds benefiting CWSC and Special Olympics Illinois (Region E) as designated by Fisk. Each purchase also includes a limited-edition certificate noting the number associated with the item.

"From his legendary home runs to his unforgettable leadership on and off the field, Carlton Fisk will forever be celebrated as one of the White Sox most iconic and beloved players," explains Christine O’Reilly, CWSC executive director. "Carlton is one of the greatest, and most reliable catchers to ever play the game. We’re excited that by commemorating his remarkable career with this special bobblehead, we can provide fans with a unique way to give back to their community."

For the last decade, CWSC has held a bobblehead fundraising campaign. Given past demand for these collectibles, fans are encouraged to act fast to secure their bobblehead. A limited amount of bobbleheads also will be available for purchase at the ballpark’s Charities Corner in Section 154.

Campaigns have commemorated former team captain Paul Konerko in 2014, José Abreu in 2015, legendary two-sport icon Bo Jackson in 2016, Hall of Famer Tim “Rock” Raines in 2017, World Series Champion A.J. Pierzynski in 2018, Hall of Famer Harold Baines in 2019, Ford C. Frick award winner Ken “Hawk” Harrelson in 2021, Hall of Famer Minnie Miñoso in 2022 and five-time All-Star and World Series Champion Mark Buehrle in 2023 – raising more than $650,000 for CWSC.
