What’s Happening This Weekend: Phillies vs. Guardians, July 26-28

The Phillies are back! The team returns for the second half of the season with a three-game series against the Cleveland Guardians at Citizens Bank Park. Here’s a look at some of the fan highlights this weekend:

1. The series begins on Friday, July 26, at 6:40 p.m. with the Phillies Ballgirls Christmas in July Toy Drive. Plus, all fans will receive a PECO Trea Turner Bobble Figurine.

  • The Phillies will wear their Nike MLB City Connect uniforms for another Lights Up // Friday Night at the Bank.
  • Make sure to bring new and unwrapped toys for the Phillies Ballgirls to collect at the entrance gates to benefit local organizations dedicated to improving the lives of children. The toy drive is a continuation of this year’s Phillies Summer of Giving presented by The GIANT Company.
  • “The Bachelor” Season 28 star and lifelong Phillies fan Joey Graziadei will throw a ceremonial first pitch.
  • In honor of Opening Night for the Paris 2024 Olympics, 1988 Olympic Gold Medalist Mickey Morandini will also throw a first pitch.
  • Fans, age 21 & over: stop by the Miller Lite Friday Happy Hour at Miller Lite Liberty Landing, featuring specials until the first pitch.

2. On Saturday, July 27, fans can enjoy the Kaskade Postgame Concert presented by Jim Beam following that night’s 6:05 p.m. game.

  • Your game ticket is your concert ticket – no additional purchase is required.
  • Before the game, NCAA champion pole vaulter Chloe Timberg from Rutgers University will throw a ceremonial first pitch.
  • Gia Helms, 13, from Williamstown, N.J., will be honored as that night’s GIANT Kid of the Game.
  • Join the pregame fun at the Budweiser Block Party at the Budweiser Batter’s Eye Bar behind Section 148.
  • The Phillies will hold an on-field check presentation to Pennsylvania Auto Theft Prevention Authority, in recognition of their partnership with the School District of Philadelphia mentoring program.

3. The series concludes on Sunday, July 28, at 1:35 p.m. All children 14 and under will receive a Philadelphia Water Ice Kyle Schwarber “Schwarbomb” Beach Towel.

  • Fans can enjoy complimentary face painting at The Yard before and during the game.
  • Joey Donovan, 8, from Marlton, N.J., will be honored as that night’s GIANT Kid of the Game.
  • U.S. Capitol Police officer Andrew Linder, who ran from California to New York wearing a 15-pound vest to raise awareness against human trafficking, will change a base at the end of the 3rd inning as he is honored as that night’s Rothman Hometown Hero.
  • Liverpool F.C. mascot Mighty Red will join the Phanatic on the field in the 5th inning, in anticipation of the team’s match against Arsenal later that week.

4. Bid on team-issued and game-used autographed memorabilia during the Phillies Charities, Inc. Online Auction on phillies.com/auctions until August 1, at 6:00 p.m.

  • Auction items include baseballs, jerseys, caps, broken bats and more signed by players such as José Alvarado, Alec Bohm, Nick Castellanos, Seranthony Domínguez, Bryce Harper, Brandon Marsh, Aaron Nola, J.T. Realmuto, Kyle Schwarber, Edmundo Sosa, Bryson Stott, Matt Strahm, Ranger Suárez, Trea Turner and Zack Wheeler.
  • Gate Openings: 5:10 p.m. on Friday, 4:35 p.m. on Saturday and 12:05 p.m. on Sunday (Left Field Gate at 11:35 a.m.).
  • NEW Phillies Live Audio: Fans in attendance at Citizens Bank Park can enjoy the Phillies radio broadcast in real time. Using the MLB Ballpark app, navigate to the “Phillies Live Audio” tile and follow the instructions.
  • Go-Ahead Entry: Enroll on the MLB Ballpark app for a free-flow ballpark entry experience that allows ticket holders the ability to enter the ballpark at full walking speed without stopping. Go-Ahead Entry lanes are located at the First Base, Third Base and Left Field Gates.
  • Access Tickets & More: Use the free MLB Ballpark app for your guide to Citizens Bank Park and to access tickets (including sports complex parking), forward tickets to friends, use the interactive concourse maps, enroll in Go-Ahead Entry and enjoy games.
  • Broadcast: All three games will be broadcast on NBSCP and available to stream on nbcsportsphiladelphia.com and the NBC Sports App. The games will also be broadcast on 94 WIP and WTTM 1680. Sunday’s game will be broadcast on MLB Network, out-of-market only.
  • Mobile Ordering: Includes Manco & Manco @ Foundry Pizza, Miller Lite Liberty Landing, Pass and Stow and Shake Shack. Order your favorite menu items and skip the line when ordering through the MLB Ballpark app.
  • Bag Policy: In an effort to expedite entry, guests are prohibited from bringing non-clear bags, including backpacks and drawstring bags, into the ballpark. Only clutch purses and/or fanny packs (no larger than 5" x 7"), clear bags (no larger than 12" x 6" x 12"), medical bags and diaper bags will be permitted into Citizens Bank Park. All bags will be subject to inspection upon entry in accordance with Major League Baseball security regulations.
  • Uber RideShare Lot: Lot T is designated for Uber RideShare for all Citizens Bank Park and Wells Fargo Center events. Fans should exit the Third Base Gate and walk along Pattison Avenue toward Broad Street to enter the lot and request a vehicle, which will meet each rider in the designated area.
