The Pittsburgh Pirates today unveiled the promotional schedule, home game times, and single-game ticket on-sale date for the 2025 season at PNC Park.

The Pirates are set to celebrate the first home series of the 2025 season with a three-game series against the New York Yankees, beginning on Friday, April 4, at 4:12 p.m. It marks the first time in franchise history that the Pirates will host the Yankees for their Home Opener.

The 2025 home schedule will be packed with popular fan promotions, including the return of two everpopular theme weekends. The Pirates will celebrate everything that is unique about Pittsburgh during the annual Yinzerpalooza weekend, presented by Mrs. T’s Pierogies, from July 18-20 against the Chicago White Sox. From August 7-10, the Pirates will also host the fan-favorite Bucco Luau when the team takes on the Cincinnati Reds, once again featuring the popular Pirates bucket hat and Hawaiian shirt.

The Pirates will light the sky up eight times this season with a series of fireworks and drone shows:

• Friday, June 27 vs. New York Mets (Drone Show)

• Friday, August 22 vs. Colorado Rockies
• Friday, September 19 vs. the Athletics

Sugardale Dollar Dogs are also back this season, moving to Thursdays at PNC Park featuring the must-have $1 Sugardale Hot Dogs:

Sundays are Family Fun Days with the Pirates at PNC Park, including the pregame Family Fun Zone, presented by C&M Play Studio. Family-friendly events returning in 2025 will include postgame Kids Run the Bases, and the popular Sesame Street Day. New to the Family Fun Days lineup this season, the Pirates will celebrate DC Day at the ballpark. Kids giveaways will feature:

During the season, the Pirates will host a variety of special event ticket packages, including Education Days on April 17, May 1 and May 21 and Youth Baseball and Softball Days on May 4, June 10, June 29, July 27 and August 10. Additional information about Education Days, WWE Night, DC Day, University Nights, Heritage Nights, and other special events ticket packages will be announced in January 2025.

Fans can purchase group tickets starting Monday, December 1. The Pirates 6 Pack+ and other ticket packages are on sale now and include the ability to choose any six or more games throughout the season. These plans provide fans the first opportunity to secure tickets to the best games in 2025, including Opening Day.
