Major League Baseball today launched the ballot for the official All-MLB Team presented by MGM Rewards, which recognizes and commemorates the top performances by players during the 2024 regular season. The selections for the All-MLB Team, which was established in 2019, will be announced on November 14^th during the “All-MLB Team Show presented by MGM Rewards” from The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan during the second annual All-MLB Weekend presented by MGM Rewards in Las Vegas, Nevada. Additional MLB awards to be unveiled in Las Vegas during the live All-MLB Show include the Hank Aaron Award winners, Comeback Players of the Year, Mariano Rivera and Trevor Hoffman Relievers of the Year, and Edgar Martinez Outstanding Designated Hitter of the Year.

In addition to award winners and other current players, several former players are expected to be in attendance in Las Vegas, including four-time All-Star Dellin Betances; 2015 World Series champion Jeremy Guthrie; 2016 All-Star and World Series Champion Dexter Fowler; five-time All-Star and 10-time Gold Glove Award winner Andruw Jones; 2007 AL Cy Young Award winner, six-time All-Star and 2009 World Series Champion CC Sabathia; nine-time All-Star, 1997 World Series Champion and 1992 NL Batting Champion Gary Sheffield; 2009 World Series Champion and 2010 All-Star Nick Swisher; four-time All-Star Justin Upton; and 2010 All-Star Chris Young.

Beginning today and continuing through Friday, October 11^th at 12:00 p.m. (ET), fans may vote for their 2024 All-MLB choices at mlb.com/allmlb each day. In addition, the ballot will be available in Spanish at lasmayores.com/todomlb. Fans voting on MLB.com and a decorated panel of media members, broadcasters, former players and other officials throughout the game will have equal say in determining the first-team and second-team choices who comprise the 2024 All-MLB Team. All fans who vote for the 2024 All-MLB Team can enter for a chance to win a trip to All-MLB Weekend to see the winners announced live.

Fans and panelists will vote for their choices at catcher, first base, second base, third base, shortstop, three outfielders (without regard for left/center/right) and designated hitter, along with five starting pitchers and two relief pitchers on both the first and second teams. All choices will be based on the 2024 regular season, without regard for American League or National League affiliation. MLB Network will preview and analyze the nominees at each position with Adnan Virk, Steve Phillips and Dan Plesac on the 2024 All-MLB Team Nominees Show presented by MGM Rewards tomorrow night at 8:00 p.m. (ET).

Among the 2024 nominees are 80 All-Stars, including 60 players who appeared on 2024 All-Star rosters; six rookies; 45 players age 27-or-younger, including 21 players age 25-or-younger and 13 players age 24-or-younger; 44 internationally-born players hailing from nine countries and territories outside the 50 United States; six Most Valuable Player Award winners; one Cy Young Award winner; nine Rookie of the Year Award winners; three Reliever of the Year Award winners; five batting champions; and 39 previous All-MLB Team honorees, including 15 members of the 2023 All-MLB Team (nine first-team selections, seven second-team selections; Shohei Ohtani selected first-team as designated hitter and starting pitcher), eight two-time honorees, five three-time honorees, two four-time honorees and one five-time honoree.

Los Angeles Dodgers first baseman Freddie Freeman is the lone player to be honored as a first-team or second-team selection in each of the previous five seasons. Designated hitter Yordan Alvarez of the Houston Astros and outfielder Mookie Betts of the Dodgers are both four-time All-MLB Team selections seeking a fifth designation. Aaron Judge of the New York Yankees joins Ohtani of the Dodgers as players bidding for a fourth consecutive All-MLB selection. Judge earned first-team honors in 2021 and 2022 before a second-team selection in 2023. Ohtani has been selected to either team as both a designated hitter and a starting pitcher in each of the last three seasons after earning first-team honors as a designated hitter and second-team honors as a starting pitcher in 2021; first-team honors as a starting pitcher and second-team honors as a designated hitter in 2022; and first-team honors in both categories in 2023.

All-MLB Team first-team honorees from 2023 featured on the 2024 ballot include the aforementioned Betts, Freeman and Ohtani of the Dodgers; outfielder Corbin Carroll of the Arizona Diamondbacks; reliever Josh Hader of the Astros; catcher Adley Rutschman of the Baltimore Orioles; and shortstop Corey Seager and second baseman Marcus Semien of the Texas Rangers. Among the 2023 second-team winners on the 2024 ballot are the aforementioned Alvarez of the Astros and Judge of the Yankees; reliever Emmanuel Clase of the Cleveland Guardians; starting pitcher Sonny Gray of the St. Louis Cardinals; shortstop Francisco Lindor of the New York Mets; first baseman Matt Olson of the Atlanta Braves; and third baseman José Ramírez of the Guardians.
