Dodgers Sign Teoscar Hernández

LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Dodgers have agreed to terms with outfielder Teoscar Hernández on a three-year contract for $66 million.

Hernández, 32, returns for his second season with the Dodgers after clubbing a career-best 33 homers and driving in 99 runs. He played 154 games, slashing .272/.339/.501 and posting a career-best 4.3 bWAR. He was selected to his second All-Star Game after clubbing 19 homers and driving in 62 before the break. He was the first player in franchise history to win the T-Mobile Home Run Derby after swatting 49 homers to beat Bobby Witt Jr. in the finals.

He earned his second All-MLB selection at the end of the season after completing his ninth Major League campaign. The three-time Silver Slugger Award winner has been in the Majors nine seasons with Houston (2016-17), Toronto (2017-22), Seattle (2023) and Los Angeles (2024) and has slugged 194 homers while driving in 572 runs.

The Dodgers will host a press conference for Hernández at 1:00 p.m. at the Stadium Club at Dodger Stadium.
