Astros to host Dodgers, Pirates and Rays in nine-game homestand, July 26-Aug. 4

Highlights of the homestand include Kids Day, premium giveaways, Andre Johnson Night and more

HOUSTON, Texas – The Astros return to Minute Maid Park for their first homestand of the second half of the season. The nine-game homestand sees the Astros host the Los Angeles Dodgers, July 26-28, Pittsburgh Pirates, July 29-31 and the Tampa Bay Rays, Aug. 2-4.

Highlights of the homestand include a matchup between the NL West leading Dodgers and the AL West leading Astros, replica jersey giveaways, Peña bobblehead, Andre Johnson Night, Kids Day and more.

Single-game tickets are available for purchase for the homestand, along with a variety of Flex Plan options. From three to 15 games, fans can tailor a package that fits their schedule and budget best. There are pre-set plan options or fans can create their own package. Friday, July 26 – Astros vs. Los Angeles Dodgers: 7:10 p.m. CT
The Astros open the series with the Dodgers and the nine-game homestand at 7:10 p.m. on Friday. The game will be televised live on Apple TV+, with English radio on KBME 790 AM and Spanish radio on TUDN 93.3 FM.

Jeremy Peña will host students from the Astros Youth Academy on Friday as part of his Peña’s Pals program. In its second year, Pena’s Pals is a program developed by Jeremy in partnership with the Astros Foundation. He wants to celebrate kids and their development in academics, character building and making healthy choices. During the 2024 season, Jeremy will choose a school/organization and pick five Peña Pals students based on character, grades and growth. Those five students will be treated to an Astros game courtesy of Peña, and will attend batting practice, receive special Peña’s Pals shirts and more.

Pregame Happy Hour, presented by Budweiser, will take place from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Michelob Ultra Bar, where fans can enjoy $5 Ultra Draft, a live DJ and amazing views.

Friday Night Fireworks presented by ConocoPhillips are set for postgame, featuring the musical theme of player walk up music. Fireworks are subject to weather. In the event a show must be cancelled due to weather, refunds will not be granted.

The National Anthem will be performed by Kenneth Gayle.

A portion of the proceeds from Friday’s LGI Homes Share2Care 50/50 Raffle will go to Habitat for Humanity.

Saturday, July 27 – Astros vs. Los Angeles Dodgers: 6:10 p.m. CT
Game two of the series against the Dodgers is set for 6:10 p.m. CT on Saturday. The game will be televised live on Space City Home Network, with English radio on KBME 790 AM and Spanish radio on TUDN 93.3 FM. The Astros will also have a Los Astros Spanish TV broadcast on the Space City Home Network alternate channel.

A portion of the proceeds from Saturday’s LGI Homes Share2Care 50/50 Raffle will go to Achilles International.

On Saturday, the Astros Foundation will host 15-year-old Trayc from Mississippi, receiving his wish to meet the Astros and attend a game through Make-a-Wish Texas Gulf Coast and Louisiana. General manager Dana Brown will sign Trayc to an honorary contract, he will attend batting practice, meet players and attend the game.

Sunday, July 28 – Astros vs. Los Angeles Dodgers: 1:10 p.m. CT
The three-game series against the Dodgers will conclude on Sunday at 1:10 p.m. CT. The game will be televised live on Space City Home Network, with English radio on KBME 790 AM and Spanish radio on TUDN 93.3 FM. The Astros will also have a Los Astros Spanish TV broadcast on the Space City Home Network alternate channel.

At 11:30 a.m. at Champions in center field, the Astros Youth Academy will hold a Signing Day for all the youth academy athletes who are committed to playing baseball and college at the college level. The student-athletes will also be recognized on the field in a pregame ceremony.

The National Anthem will be performed by Minute Maid Park favorite Kaylise Irizarry.

Kids Run the Bases, presented by Olshan Foundation Solutions will take place following the game for kids in attendance ages 5-12.

Monday, July 29 – Astros vs. Pittsburgh Pirates: 7:10 p.m. CT
The Astros will open a three-game series on Monday against the Pirates at 7:10 p.m. CT. The game will be televised live on Space City Home Network, with English radio on KBME 790 AM and Spanish radio on TUDN 93.3 FM.

A Space City Monday, the Astros will wear their Nike City Connect Space City jerseys.

10,000 fans will receive a Josh Hader Space City Jersey, presented by LEVELTX.

In honor of Space City Monday, first-year University of Houston head football coach Willie Fritz will throw out a ceremonial first pitch.

Monday is also Texas Children’s Houston Open Night at the ballpark. To honor all the volunteers that help make the tournament run, Adam Lipnicki, Volunteer of the Year will throw out a ceremonial first pitch and Greg Monteverde, Chair of the Year, will give the “Play Ball” call. In recognition of title sponsor Texas Children’s, Dr. Jeffrey Shilt, esteemed orthopedic surgeon and Community-in-Chief, will throw out a ceremonial first pitch. There is also a private, invite-only pregame Q&A with a PGA professional in the 42 Room on the Club Level.

The National Anthem will be performed by Ben Chavez.

Every Tuesday night at Minute Maid Park is Dollar Dog Night, presented by Texas Chili Company. Fans are treated to all-you-can-eat hot dogs that are just $1 each Tuesday home game during the season.

Tuesday is Andre Johnson Night as the Astros celebrate the Houston Texans legendary wideout on his induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame as a part of the Class of 2024 on Aug. 3 in Canton, Ohio. Fans attending the game on Tuesday are encouraged to arrive early to participate in all the special promotions and events that will occur before the game. From one Hall of Famer to another, Andre Johnson will throw out a ceremonial first pitch to Astros legend and Hall of Famer Craig Biggio as a part of the pregame festivities.

10,000 fans will also receive a special Andre Johnson Bobblehead, presented by Carpet Giant.

Also, in honor of Andre Johnson Night, a portion of the proceeds from Tuesday’s LGI Homes Share2Care 50/50 raffle will go to the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Georgia Frontiere/Rosenbloom Family Assistance Fund. The fund supports enshrinees and their families during times of need.

The National Anthem will be performed by Ally Venable.

Wednesday, July 31 – Astros vs. Pittsburgh Pirates: 7:10 p.m. CT
Game three of the series against the Pirates is set for 7:10 p.m. CT. It will be televised live on Space City Home Network, with English radio on KBME 790 AM and Spanish radio on TUDN 93.3 FM.

Wednesday is FRIENDS™ Night at the ballpark, celebrating the beloved TV show. Fans can enjoy FRIENDS™ themed activations around the ballpark and had the opportunity to purchase a now sold-out limited-edition FRIENDS™ bobblehead and attend a sold-out VIP Event in the Union Station Lobby.

In honor of Trae Day, which was July 22, legendary Houston rapper Trae Tha Truth will throw out a ceremonial first pitch. A pregame check ceremony will also take place.

Christian Youth Theater (CYT) will perform the National Anthem.

10,000 fans will receive a Kyle Tucker Grey 90s Throwback Jersey, presented by Rico’s. 10,000 fans will also receive Topps Baseball Cards.

The Astros will celebrate the Reliant and Astros Foundation “Slide Into Summer Reading” program during a pregame ceremony and the top reader in the program will give the ceremonial “Play Ball” Call.

Cypress Falls Choir will perform the National Anthem.

Sunday, August 4 – Astros vs. Tampa Bay Rays: 1:10 p.m. CT
Game three of the series against the Rays is set for 1:10 p.m. on Sunday. The game will be televised live on Space City Home Network, with English radio on KBME 790 AM and Spanish radio on TUDN 93.3 FM.

10,000 fans will receive an Orbit ‘Cooling’ Headband, presented by H-E-B.

Sunday is Kids Day presented by Pluckers. Families are invited to come early and participate in a variety of kid friendly activities in the Union Station Lobby from when gates open until first pitch. Kids Day activities include games, inflatables, face painters, caricature artists, balloon twisters, photobooth, dance party and snacks.

Nine-year-old Mateo Lopez will perform the National Anthem.

Open at every home Astros game from the time gates open until the end of the seventh inning, fans can purchase one-of-a-kind bats, baseballs, photos, artwork and more signed by current Astros and Astros greats. Other items signed by local Houston celebrities are also available, along with special fundraising items with all the proceeds also going to the Astros Foundation.

ASTROS FOUNDATION AUCTIONS
The Astros Foundation will hold online auctions featuring autographed memorabilia at the beginning of specific homestands. These auctions will run until the end of each homestand, with all proceeds benefiting the Astros Foundation. Every auction will be held on the MLB Houston Astros Auction website.
