When you talk about the best baseball movies of all time, Field Of Dreams is almost always at the top of the discussion.* It’s a classic. The Portland Sea Dogs know this, so they’re having a Field Of Dreams Day at the ballpark for fan appreciation day. They’re wearing throwback uniforms and they’ve built a cornfield in the outfield that the players will emerge from and proceed into the stands to thank fans. If you build it they will come, indeed.
Field of Dreams Day is a strong candidate for the next ranking of the best MiLB promotions.
