Bucs-Mets PPD Thursday; twin bill set for Sat.
The New York Mets have announced that tonight’s game against the Pittsburgh Pirates has been postponed due to inclement weather. The teams will play the makeup game this Saturday, July 10, as part of a single-admission doubleheader beginning at 4:10 p.m. at Citi Field. The first 12,000 fans in attendance will receive a Jacob deGrom replica jersey courtesy of GEICO. Gates will open at 2:10 p.m.
Only tickets marked “Saturday, July 10, 2021 – Game 43” will be valid for admission to Saturday’s doubleheader.
Fans holding a paid ticket for tonight’s game marked “Thursday, July 8, 2021 – Game 41” may choose one of the following two options:
Exchange it for a ticket comparable in price and location to another Mets 2021 regular season home game at Citi Field (including the July 10 doubleheader, but excluding the September 10-12 Subway Series vs. Yankees) subject to availability; or
Exchange it for a ticket of a different price or location to another Mets 2021 regular season home game at Citi Field (including the July 10 doubleheader, but excluding September 10-12 Subway Series vs. Yankees), subject to availability. If such an exchange is made for a higher priced ticket, the face value of the paid ticket for tonight’s game will be applied as a credit toward the price of the higher priced ticket.
Rain checks will be moved to the bottom of your Ticket Wallet in the MLB Ballpark app and be displayed as “Postponed Games 7/8 Pirates @Mets” tile.
Original parking receipts for the Thursday, July 8, 2021 game will be honored for any Mets game during the remainder of the 2021 regular season. Prepaid parking passes can be exchanged via fans’ “My Mets Tickets Account” for any remaining 2021 regular season home game. No refunds are available for the initial parking entry.
Complimentary tickets to tonight's game and those marked "NO RAINCHECK" have no value and do not constitute a rain check.
