Podcast: Prospects on the move and a chat with Kristian Campbell
The Minor League year continues to wind down with the completion of the Rookie-level playoffs, the start of the Single-A and High-A postseason this week and the Double-A playoffs kicking off next week. Another big indicator of this is the volume of prospects who have been on the move of late, climbing within their respective systems as well as getting call ups to The Show.
On the latest Pipeline Podcast, Jim Callis, Jason Ratliff and Jonathan Mayo begin with a discussion about these "dudes on the move." The trio takes a closer look at a pair of Twins -- Walker Jenkins and Emmanuel Rodriguez -- as well as Texas' Sebastian Walcott and the Phillies' Aidan Miller. The conversation segues into an introduction for arguably the Minors' best hitter this season -- Red Sox No. 5 prospect Kristian Campbell, who joins the show.

Callis, Ratliff and Mayo talk with MLB's No. 76 overall prospect about his rapid rise through three levels of Boston's system this season to Triple-A Worcester. They ask the 22-year-old about his mindset this year, any adjustments he's made and Ratliff plays an interesting comp game for Campbell to eight-time MLB All-Star Mookie Betts.
After the interview, the guys analyze the new additions to the Top 100 prospects list with a deeper dive into the Pirates' Thomas Harrington, the Braves' Cam Caminiti and the Reds' Cam Collier. The episode ends with a question related to Marlins 2022 first-round Draft pick Jacob Berry from the mailbag.
