Here's what's happening at the park for Phillies home opener

Broadcast: Pregame: SportsRadio 94WIP will broadcast live from the main concourse from 6:00 a.m. until game time. “Phillies: Fiebre Roja” will air 11:30 a.m. to noon on Telemundo62, followed by NBC Sports Philadelphia’s “Phillies Pregame Live” from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., and NBC10’s “Welcome Home Phillies” special from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Game Coverage: The 3:05 p.m. game will be broadcast on NBC10, TeleXitos, SportsRadio 94 WIP, Phillies Radio Network and WTTM 1680 AM (Spanish). Live Streams: NBC Sports Philadelphia will stream the game, as well as the pre- and postgame shows, on nbcsportsphiladelphia.com and the NBC Sports app.

10:00 a.m. New Era Phillies Team Store opens and features 1,200 square feet of brand new space! Among the new highlights: A “Jersey Feature Wall” with Trea Turner jerseys and more, NL Champ merchandise, exclusive Opening Day Memorabilia Collection, new Phillie Phanatic novelties and more.

12:35 p.m. All gates open. All fans receive a 2022 National League Champions Pennant presented by Nemours Children’s Health.

Check out all the exciting new foods that will be part of this season’s ballpark experience. Among the highlights: Coca-Cola Corner, Uncle Charlie’s Steaks (named after World Series champion manager Charlie Manuel), 1883 Burger Co, Federal Donuts chicken tenders, Greens & Grains, and P.J. Whelihan’s cheesesteak egg rolls, as well as additional locations of Manco & Manco.

Opening Day Fun and Photo Opportunities:

  • Inside the Third Base Plaza: Budweiser Block Party! Join the fun with music by DJ HBK! Plus, enjoy face painters, cornhole and prizes from Live! Casino. Plus, the Philadelphia Zoo will be on site with a blue-tongued skink (Mel), a box turtle (Pandora) and a vinegarroon (Vinny).
  • Inside the First Base Plaza: Take photos with the NL championship trophy.
  • Outside First Base Gate: Take photos at the large Opening Day
  • Citizens Bank Way: Take photos with the world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales. Also on site will be the Topps Truck display, as well as Phillies sponsors including GIANT, NBC Sports, Toyota and Comcast.
  • Outside Third Base Gate: Phillies 3D Art photo opportunity! Plus, live broadcasts and giveaways from various Audacy radio stations.

2:15 p.m. OPENING CEREMONIES BEGIN! Be in your seats for the return of this very special tradition! Cheer on the Phillies as they make their way from Ashburn Alley onto the field during their “Leadoff Walk” into the ballpark.

2:31 p.m. Introductions are made for the All-Service Honor Guard. State flags will be carried onto the field by members of the Philadelphia Police and Fire Departments. The Philadelphia Boys Choir and Chorale will perform “America the Beautiful” as members of the U.S. military, Philadelphia Fire Department and Urban Youth Softball League unfurl a large American flag.

2:32 p.m. Cincinnati Reds introductions.

2:38 p.m. Phillies introductions.

2:47 p.m. Raising of the 2022 National League champions pennant.

2:49 p.m. National anthem: Performed by Kane Kalas, son of the late Phillies Hall of Fame broadcaster Harry Kalas, at his father’s statue behind Section 141.

The United States Navy Leap Frogs Parachute Team parachute onto the field.

Ceremonial first pitches:

  • Nick Sirianni, Philadelphia Eagles Head Coach.
  • Third grader Vincent Ardito, a cardiac care patient from Nemours Children’s Health, who is a student at Weymouth Township Elementary School in Pinelands, NJ.

3:05 p.m. Play ball!

3rd Inning Recognition of the family of Sergeant Christopher David Fitzgerald, the Temple Police officer who was tragically killed in the line of duty on February 18.

5th Inning The Phillie Phanatic’s first dance of the season.

7th Inning Technical Sergeant Melissa Lackore will perform “God Bless America.”

End of the 7th inning Phanatic dance with the United States Navy Leap Frogs Parachute Team and 106th Rescue Wing.
