Phils-Mets tilt delayed by rain
NEW YORK -- Wednesday's Mets-Phillies game began in a rain delay at Citi Field, with a band of precipitation expected to move through the area early in the 1 p.m. ET hour.
It has been a challenging week of weather in New York, with snow postponing both the Mets' and Yankees' games on Monday. The Mets played a full game Tuesday against the Phillies amidst wet, cold conditions.
Once Wednesday's game begins, it will air exclusively on Facebook. MLB Network will produce the game, with play-by-play man Scott Braun joining analysts Cliff Floyd and John Kruk, and field reporter Alexa Datt.
Noah Syndergaard will start for the Mets opposite Aaron Nola.
