'Conversation' continues Wed. on MLB Network
Harold Reynolds and guests talk The Players Alliance, more
MLB Network will air a new edition of "MLB Tonight: A Conversation" on Wednesday at 6 p.m. ET, continuing to cover the issues of racial injustice and inequality in baseball and society.
CC Sabathia, Willie Randolph, Curtis Granderson, Dee Gordon, Edwin Jackson and Cameron Maybin will all join host Harold Reynolds as special guests.
Wednesday's edition will focus on African-Americans in baseball and the launch of The Players Alliance -- a group of over 100 Black current and former Major Leaguers formed to change the game for the better and increase opportunities for the Black community in baseball and beyond.
The 90-minute special will be simulcast on MLB.com.
Other guests providing insight on Wednesday's show include former big league player and manager Bo Porter, longtime Southern University baseball coach Roger Cador, MLB executive vice president of baseball and softball development Tony Reagins, Rockies special assistant to the GM Danny Montgomery, Pirates director of pro scouting Steve Williams and field coordinator Bobby Scales, and Eastern Kentucky baseball coach Edwin Thompson.
This will be the second episode of "MLB Tonight: A Conversation." The debut special, which aired June 18, celebrated Juneteenth and featured Derek Jeter, Torii Hunter, Theo Epstein, Kenny Williams and Maybin as guests.
