Netflix's upcoming documentary “The Comeback: 2004 Boston Red Sox” will take fans on an unforgettable journey through the Red Sox’s historic run to the 2004 World Series title, as told by those who lived it.

Pedro Martinez, David Ortiz, Kevin Millar, Terry Francona and Theo Epstein are among the many key figures who will share their unique perspective in the three-part documentary, which premieres Oct. 23, and it will provide an in-depth look at key moments from the 2004 season, culminating with the Red Sox’s epic comeback against the rival Yankees in the American League Championship Series and their subsequent World Series sweep over the Cardinals.

Fans were treated to a sneak peek at the doc on Friday via a clip chronicling a defining moment in the Red Sox-Yankees rivalry: the benches-clearing incident sparked by Boston catcher Jason Varitek and Yankees third baseman Alex Rodríguez following a hit-by-pitch on July 24, 2004.

Boston was scuffling at the time, but everything changed after the third-inning fracas. The Red Sox came back to win the game and turned around their season. Months later, of course, they’d complete the most improbable comeback in baseball history against those same Yankees, erasing a three-games-to-none deficit in the ALCS before going on to break the “Curse of the Bambino” once and for all with their first title in 86 years.

Check out the clip now and watch “The Comeback: 2004 Boston Red Sox” exclusively on Netflix on Oct. 23.
