Coming off becoming the youngest player to win the National League batting title and his first Silver Slugger Award, right fielder Juan Soto was named a finalist for the 2021 All-Star Game, taking place July 13 at Coors Field in Colorado.

You can vote NOW up until Thursday at 2 p.m. ET. The All-Star starters will be announced on Thursday at 9 p.m. on ESPN. Pitchers and reserves will be revealed on July 4 at 5:30 p.m. on ESPN. The All-Star Game is July 13 on FOX.

Soto is joined by Ronald Acuña Jr. (Braves), Nick Castellanos (Reds), Jesse Winker (Reds), Mookie Betts (Dodgers), Chris Taylor (Dodgers), Bryce Harper (Phillies), Joc Pederson (Cubs) and Mike Yastrzemski (Giants) as the Google All-Star Ballot finalists for starting NL outfielders.

“That would be great,” Soto said on Monday. “I know my family’s really excited to see me there. I’m really happy for it. Let’s see how this ends. At the end of the day, I see a lot of good players on top of me, and a lot of people keep voting for me.”

The 22-year-old Soto entered Sunday's announcement slashing .273/.397/.427 with an .824 OPS and eight home runs in 64 games. Among NL outfielders, he ranks first in walks (46), fourth in OBP, sixth in batting average and eighth in OPS.

Soto also would like to see his teammate, Trea Turner, make the cut among shortstops. Turner entered Monday pacing all NL shortstops in batting average and hits, tied for first in stolen bases, second in OBP and third in OPS.

“It’s really tough when you see a guy like Trea Turner out of it,” Soto said. “He got me a little excited about it. But it is what it is. We’ve got to keep going.”
