Brewers launch free podcast

PHOENIX -- New Brewers broadcaster Jeff Levering reported to camp this week to begin recording segments for the team's first self-produced podcast.

"Brewers on Tap" will include interviews with players and fans, contests and other features, and will be available via Brewers.com and iTunes.

The initial episode will be available for streaming or download on Wednesday at Brewers.com/podcast, where fans can also access the weekly "MLB.com Extras."

"Brewers on Tap" will be released each Wednesday and is free to download.

During the season, Levering will preview upcoming homestands and road trips, air audio flashbacks and answer fan questions. He joined the team's broadcast crew in January, and will fill-in for Bob Uecker when Uecker skips select road trips.
