During manager Joe Maddon’s daily Zoom session with reporters before Thursday’s 3-2 win over the Brewers, Angels superstar Mike Trout joined the group and had an important question for Maddon. Trout, going by “Mike from Golf Digest,” asked about Maddon’s golf game and if it’s improving this spring. Maddon took it in stride and even gave his own golf tips on how to improve.

“It’s getting better,” Maddon said. “It’s all about this movement with the left knee coming in and getting to your right heel for your turn. I never really understood the concept of the turn. That was confusing to me. So now I'm at rip, turn and finish left. Those are my three swing keys."
