As a left-handed slugger with impressive plate discipline, Dodgers infield prospect Michael Busch has drawn comparisons to Max Muncy, so it's only fitting that with Muncy heading to the paternity list, L.A. is calling up its No. 3 prospect to replace him, the team announced on Tuesday. Additionally, reliever Evan Phillips was activated off the 15-day injured list and right-hander Brusdar Graterol was also placed on the paternity list.

Busch, whom MLB Pipeline ranks as the No. 48 overall prospect, is hitting .337 with two homers and a .967 OPS in 21 games with Triple-A Oklahoma City. With Muncy set to miss a maximum of three games on the paternity list, the Dodgers are hoping Busch can help fill the power gap in the lineup, as Muncy leads the Majors with 11 home runs.

Busch will make his MLB debut on Tuesday as the Dodgers open up a three-game series in Pittsburgh, batting seventh as the team's designated hitter opposite Pirates right-hander Johan Oviedo.
