April 30: Nationals 2, Marlins 1 (10) -- López continues to roll
Pablo López has held opponents to two runs or fewer in 12 of his past 17 regular-season starts dating to last season. This year, he has allowed two or fewer runs in five of six starts and has pitched six or more innings in four of them, good for a 2.34 ERA.

April 29: Marlins 6, Brewers 2 -- Brinson's laser home one of 2021's best
Lewis Brinson caught Travis Shaw’s sixth-inning lineout in left field, then fired a 95.5 mph throw home. Catcher Chad Wallach corralled the ball on the hop and tagged Daniel Vogelbach for the inning-ending double play. That is tied for the third-fastest tracked throw on an outfield assist in 2021.

April 27: Brewers 5, Marlins 4 -- Aguilar's power trip
Jesús Aguilar hit a solo shot in the fourth, giving him home runs in four of the past five games. This three-game series marked the return to Milwaukee for Aguilar, who was an All-Star for the Brewers in 2018.

April 26: Marlins 8, Brewers 0 -- Battery is a perfect match
Veteran backstop Sandy León has caught Trevor Rogers' past two starts. Across 13 scoreless innings, Rogers has struck out 15 and walked just one.

April 25: Giants 4, Marlins 3 -- Duvall swipes a bag
Adam Duvall, who started in center field for the first time in his career, also stole a base for the first time since April 29, 2018, when he was a member of the Reds. With Jon Berti facing a full-count offering in the second inning, Duvall was running on the pitch and reached second. According to Statcast, he had a sprint speed of 28.2 feet/second. Duvall has 14 career steals.

April 24: Marlins 5, Giants 2 -- Giants no big deal for López
In three career starts against the Giants, Pablo López has allowed just two earned runs across 18 innings, with 21 strikeouts vs. four walks.

April 23: Giants 5, Marlins 3 -- Alcantara's wild side
Sandy Alcantara walked four batters for the first time since Sept. 3, 2019, a span of 16 starts. He had issued just seven free passes through the first 24 2/3 innings of the season.

April 22: Giants 3, Marlins 0 -- Castano breaks through
Marlins left-hander Daniel Castano struck out two over five innings in a loss to the Giants. The rookie didn't collect his first punchout until his 28th batter faced of the season -- opposing pitcher Aaron Sanchez. Castano entered his start with a career rate of 3.1 strikeouts per nine innings.

April 21: Marlins 3, Orioles 0 -- Rogers keeps the K's coming
Rookie left-hander Trevor Rogers has the most strikeouts (70) of any Marlins left-handed pitcher in his first 11 career starts. He fanned eight batters across seven scoreless innings in Wednesday's win.

April 20: Orioles 7, Marlins 5 -- Rojas ties career high
Miguel Rojas matched a career high with four hits, marking the eighth time he has done so -- and first since Sept. 7, 2020, in Atlanta. Rojas, who moved up to the second spot in the order with Starling Marte on the injured list, also walked.

April 18: Giants 1, Marlins 0 -- López racks up K's
Pablo López fanned a career-high nine batters -- all on the changeup -- in six innings. San Francisco entered with 15 strikeouts in 57 at-bats ending on a changeup.

April 17: Marlins 7, Giants 6 -- Dickerson matches career high
Corey Dickerson recorded his 15th career four-hit game, and his first as a Marlin.

April 16: Marlins 4, Giants 1 -- Jazz continues to rake
Jazz Chisholm Jr. is the seventh Marlins rookie to record an extra-base hit in five consecutive games. Mike Lowell set the club rookie record with a six-game extra-base hit streak in 1999.

April 15: Braves 7, Marlins 6 -- Timely hits
Although the Marlins dropped the finale, the bats showed a penchant for coming up clutch in the series victory. In the four matchups in Atlanta, Miami went 20-for-51 (.392) with runners in scoring position and averaged 7.75 runs per game.

April 14: Marlins 6, Braves 5 (10 innings) -- Reversal of fortune
By taking the first three matchups, Miami secured its first four-game series victory in Atlanta since 2014. That year also marks the last time the Marlins had a winning season record (10-9) against the Braves. Two of the three wins have come in extras.

April 13: Marlins 14, Braves 8 -- A record-tying night for Duvall
Adam Duvall felt right at home in Truist Park on Tuesday as he put on a show, going 4-for-5 with seven RBIs and two home runs. With this incredible stat line on Tuesday, Duvall joins elite company. He and Alex Rodriguez are the only two players since 1954 to have multiple games with seven RBIs, two home runs, and four runs scored in a game.

April 12: Marlins 5, Braves 3 (10 innings) -- Quality and quantity for Alcantara
Sandy Alcantara has been a prime example of consistency as the Marlins’ ace this season. That trend continued as he put together another quality start with four strikeouts, four hits and three runs allowed over 6 1/3 innings. The effort gives him nine straight regular-season quality starts dating back to Sept. 5, 2020.

April 10: Marlins 3, Mets 0 -- Chisholm keeps up with the heat
Yes, Mets right-hander Jacob deGrom has a fastball that is clocked at 100 miles per hour, but Marlins second baseman Jazz Chisholm Jr. showed that he could beat the heat. In his first at-bat on Saturday, Chisholm swung at a 100.4 mph fastball from deGrom and hit it into the upper deck at Citi Field for a home run. It tied for the fastest pitch that a Marlins player has hit for a homer since 2008, when the pitch-tracking era began.

April 8: Mets 3, Marlins 2 -- Neidert's velo a personal best
Marlins right-hander Nick Neidert, known more for his pitchability than velocity, reached 94.5 mph on his four-seam fastball to strike out James McCann in the second inning of his first Major League start. In four relief appearances in 2020, Miami's No. 12 prospect threw a pitch no faster than 93.5 mph.

April 7: Cardinals 7, Marlins 0 -- López's scoreless streak ends
Yadier Molina's two-run homer in the seventh inning snapped a career-long 16-inning scoreless streak (only including the regular season) for right-hander Pablo López, a run that dated back to Sept. 24, 2020.

April 6: Cardinals 4, Marlins 2 -- Alcantara joins rare company
Right-hander Sandy Alcantara became the third Marlins pitcher to fan 10 or more Cardinals, joining José Fernández and A.J. Burnett. At one point, he struck out six straight batters. According to the Elias Sports Bureau, it marked the seventh time in club history a Marlin had struck out six or more in a row.

April 5: Cardinals 3, Marlins 1 -- Rogers brings the heat
Left-hander Trevor Rogers reached 98.0 mph with his four-seam fastball during the first inning of Monday night's game against the Cardinals. In 2020 the pitch averaged 93.6 mph, with a maximum velo of 96.2 mph.

April 3: Marlins 12, Rays 7 -- All that Jazz
After walking to lead off the fourth, MLB Pipeline No. 66 overall prospect Jazz Chisholm Jr. stole second and third before racing home on a shallow sac fly to right. According to Statcast, he exhibited near-elite speed on the steal of third (29.5 ft/sec) and elite speed (30.6 ft/sec) on the dash home.

April 2: Rays 6, Marlins 4 -- López continues to deal
Since starting the 29-9 loss to the Braves last September, Pablo López has a 1.21 ERA, 0.76 WHIP and a .133 batting average against in his last four regular-season starts.

April 1: Rays 1, Marlins 0 -- Alcantara stellar in loss
Sandy Alcantara struck out seven batters in his outing, scattering two hits, walking two batters and hitting another. In doing so, he became the third Marlins Opening Day pitcher to go at least six innings and not allow a run, joining Kevin Brown (1997) and Josh Beckett (2005).
