PHILADELPHIA -- Saturday's game between the Mets and Phillies was postponed due to rain. It will be made up as part of a single-admission doubleheader on Thursday, Aug. 16.
Rain began falling at Citizens Bank Park shortly after the game's originally scheduled 7:05 p.m. ET first pitch. The storm worsened later in the night, prompting an official rainout announcement just after 8 p.m.
The series wraps up Sunday at 1:35 p.m., and the Phillies' pitching plans were still to be announced. Zach Eflin was the starter scheduled for Saturday, while Aaron Nola had been penciled in for Sunday.

The Mets will stick with right-hander Jacob deGrom, pushing Noah Syndergaard (Saturday's scheduled starter) back to Tuesday.
Eflin, who was called up in place of injured righty Ben Lively, has a 0.71 ERA in two starts with the Phillies this season. Nola, meanwhile, struck out a career-best 12 batters in his last outing against the Giants as he lowered his season ERA to 2.05.

The Phillies have a scheduled off-day Monday before starting a two-game set against the Orioles in Baltimore on Tuesday.
