July 30: Miller still with A's as Trade Deadline passes
The Trade Deadline has come and gone, and Miller remains in an A's uniform. The A's reportedly listened to offers for the flamethrowing righty over the past few weeks, but they unsurprisingly set a lofty asking price for a pitcher with five years of control remaining after 2024.

Miller never seemed particularly likely to be traded at any point, and the chances of a deal further diminished when he fractured his left pinky and was placed on the 15-day injured list on July 25.
