The Cincinnati Reds have announced that a bronze sculpture of Hall of Fame broadcaster Marty Brennaman will be unveiled outside of Great American Ball Park on Saturday, Sept. 6, 2025.
The sculpture will depict Marty behind the radio microphone as he was for 46 years with the Reds.
“This sculpture will be a tribute to Marty Brennaman’s incredible legacy and represents all that he means to Reds Country,” said Phil Castellini, Reds President and CEO. “For nearly five decades, Marty was the voice of the Reds, bringing unforgettable moments to life for generations of fans. Now, his presence outside Great American Ball Park will be a lasting reminder of his passion and love for this team and this city.”
Local artist Tom Tsuchiya has been commissioned to create the sculpture, which will be placed near the Reds front office building facing Joe Nuxhall Way to welcome fans as they arrive at Crosley Terrace.
The Reds Hall of Fame will embark on a fundraising campaign that provides multiple levels of giving to support the sculpture.
Encore Technologies is a proud leading supporter of the Marty Brennaman sculpture project.
“I want to thank the Reds for providing the opportunity to be the lead sponsor for this special honor for Reds Hall of Fame legend, and my good friend, Marty Brennaman,” said John Burns, Founder and CEO, Encore Technologies. “Throughout Reds Country, Marty’s name is synonymous with Reds baseball, and his bronze sculpture, alongside other Reds legends at the ballpark, will remind fans of his contributions to the game and to our community.”
A dedication ceremony will be held before the Reds vs. New York Mets game on September 6. (6:40 p.m. first pitch)
