JUPITER, Fla. -- Bally Sports Florida on Wednesday announced it will produce and televise all 162 regular-season Marlins games in 2021. In turn, the season will mark the beginning of a new multiyear media rights agreement for the Sinclair Broadcast Group-owned network. The rebranded FOX Sports Florida will enter its 21st year as the network home of the Marlins.

The Marlins did not disclose any details about the terms of the agreement, including how long it runs. The parties’ previous television agreement expired after the 2020 season.

"We're excited to be competitive with the other teams, and we're in a very good market in terms of population, so I think that says a lot," Marlins principal owner Bruce Sherman said during a Zoom call earlier in camp.

The Bally Sports Florida broadcast team will return Paul Severino (fourth season) as the play-by-play announcer and Todd Hollandsworth (fifth) as the color analyst. Jeff Nelson, Gaby Sanchez, Tommy Hutton and J.P. Arencibia also will be back as analysts on pregame and postgame coverage. Cliff Floyd, a former Marlins All-Star like Sanchez, will rejoin the broadcast for his first season since 2013 as a pregame and postgame analyst. Craig Minervini (20th season) and Jessica Blaylock (seventh) are back as in-game reporters and hosts, with Kelly Saco (fourth) rounding out the broadcast team as contributing host and in-game reporter. South Florida digital host and reporter Jeremy Taché will cover all things social in his first season.

Opening Day is scheduled for April 1 against the reigning American League-champion Rays at 4:10 p.m. ET at Marlins Park. "Bally Sports Big Opening Day" will debut at 11 a.m. prior to Citrus Series coverage, with a live whip-around style show offering MLB previews and sports updates across the 19 Bally Sports regional networks. "Marlins Live" coverage will start at 3 p.m. from Marlins Park.

All broadcasts throughout the season will feature half-hour "Marlins Live" pregame shows along with extended postgame coverage. "Marlins Live" will originate from Marlins Park for home games, with away games anchored between Marlins Park and the new Bally Sports studio. "Marlins All-Access" and "Marlins Clubhouse" shows will return with insights on the team, players, coaches, organization and more.

In addition to MLB.TV, Marlins programming will stream live on the upcoming all-new Bally Sports app, and on ballysports.com, when a consumer authenticates through their pay TV service. The Bally Sports app will be available on mobile and tablet devices, including iOS and Android, as well as connected devices including Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, Apple TV, Google Chromecast, PlayStation, Roku Players and Roku TV, Samsung and LG platforms and Xbox One. The FOX Sports GO app will update to the all-new Bally Sports app upon the release of the new app. Fans can also download the app for free from the iTunes App Store, Google Play, Amazon App Store, Roku App Store, XBOX One App Store and Windows App Store.
