Injury: Tommy John surgery
Expected return: Late April/early May
Status: Began throwing live batting practice on March 12, but with no swings from hitters. Underwent surgery last May, but could return right around the 12-month mark. (Last updated: March 12)
RHP George Kirby
Injury: Right shoulder inflammation
Expected return: Will begin regular season on IL
Status: Shut down from throwing on March 7 after experiencing soreness, though an MRI exam showed no structural damage. GM Justin Hollander said the recovery is a matter of weeks and not days. (Last updated: March 9)
RHP Troy Taylor
Injury: Right lat strain
Expected return: TBD
Status: Suffered the injury during an offseason throwing session leading into Spring Training, but was recently cleared to begin throwing again. (Last updated: Feb. 21)
RHP Jackson Kowar
Injury: Tommy John surgery
Expected return: 2025
Status: Suffered the injury in his second Cactus League outing last year. He's been regularly throwing bullpens in camp, but isn't expected to see any Cactus League reps. (Last updated: Feb. 21)
