ST. PETERSBURG -- Marlins center fielder Marcell Ozuna continued his hot hitting, going 2-for-4 with two RBIs in Miami's 4-3 victory over Tampa Bay on Wednesday night at Tropicana Field.
Ozuna extended his on-base streak to a Major League-best 32 consecutive games, the longest by a Marlins player since Logan Morrison reached in 34 straight from April 1-June 3, 2011.

On Wednesday, Ozuna was moved up in the lineup to the cleanup spot after Giancarlo Stanton was held out with right side soreness. Ozuna has raised his average from .196 to .331 since the on-base streak began on April 21, and his on-base percentage has rocketed from .212 to .378.
Ozuna guaranteed that his streak would live on Wednesday when he gave the Marlins a 3-1 lead with a two-run single off right-hander Matt Andriese in the third inning. With one out, Ozuna cracked a line drive into right field, scoring Martin Prado and Justin Bour.
Before his current streak, Ozuna had never reached base in more than 20 consecutive games, achieving that feat from May 15-June 4, 2013.
"It was a good feeling, obviously," Marlins manager Don Mattingly said of Ozuna's two-run hit. "We got down, and right now, you're scratching for runs. Just this time of the year, anything counts. So it was big for everybody."
