The Baseball Writers' Association of America (BBWAA) honors MLB's best with its four annual awards: MVP, Cy Young, Rookie of the Year and Manager of the Year. The 2023 award winners were announced this week on MLB Network.

Corbin Carroll (National League) and Gunnar Henderson (American League) won the Jackie Robinson Rookie of the Year Awards, the Marlins' Skip Schumaker (NL) and the Orioles' Brandon Hyde (AL) won the Manager of the Year honors, this year's Cy Young Awards went to Blake Snell (NL) and Gerrit Cole (AL), and both MVP winners were unanimous -- Ronald Acuña Jr. (NL) and Shohei Ohtani (AL).

Of course, some teams’ hauls have been bigger than others over the years. What follows is a breakdown of each of the 30 franchise’s winners in each of those four categories.

It’s worth noting that these awards cover different time frames. There have been AL and NL Manager of the Year Awards since 1983, AL and NL Cy Young Awards since 1967 (there was a single MLB award from 1956-66), AL and NL Rookie of the Year Awards since 1949 (there was a single MLB award from 1947-48), and AL and NL MVP Awards since 1931. (While MVP Awards did exist in different forms before then, we are not including those here; the current version was established in 1931.)
