Madison Bumgarner hasn't been a member of the Giants since 2019, but it only makes sense that during his 11 seasons playing in San Francisco he made some close friends that he doesn't get to see as often since moving to Arizona.

One of those buddies was able to reconnect with Bumgarner thanks to the D-backs swinging through San Francisco for a series this week. That former colleague? None other than Giants mascot Lou Seal, who ambled over to the Arizona dugout to say hello to his old friend. And give him a head pat for old times' sake.

Bumgarner even cracked a smile as Lou Seal walked away to continue his in-game duties, which shows what an important friendship it must be to them both.
