Kershaw to add fatherhood to list of milestones

LOS ANGELES -- In a season of milestones for Clayton Kershaw, the pitcher will soon be adding another to the list: fatherhood.

Kershaw, 26, and his wife, Ellen, are expecting a daughter in January. The Los Angeles Times reported the news, which the Dodgers confirmed with this Tweet from their official account: "Congrats on expecting your first child @ClaytonKersh22! Future number one dad to add to the accolades #Kershaw4MVP."

It'll be the first child for the high school sweethearts, who have been married since 2010.
