The top 5 mouthwatering MLB World Tour: London Series 2024 menu items
Think of baseball and it’s hard not imagine the incredible ballpark food. Fans at this year’s London Series can expect to be served a treat at London Stadium when the New York Mets take on the Philadelphia Phillies on June 8-9.
While stars like Bryce Harper, Trea Turner, Pete Alonso and Francisco Lindor are the main attractions, just as exciting is the food that will be on offer.
Like previous years, the menu has taken inspiration from the home cities of both teams while ensuring some fan favourites and British classics make a return.
Below, we detail some of the highlights of what will be on offer.
1. London Series Boomtown hot dog
A London Series legend returns for 2024. This two-foot-long dog is loaded with braised beef and chili, topped with jalapeños, nacho cheese and sour cream. Designed to be shared between four friends.
2. London Series Boomtown chili nachos
Just like the hot dog, fans can also sink their teeth into a two-foot serving of tortilla chips topped with a generous helping of nacho cheese, chili, jalapeño peppers, sour cream, spring onions and salsa.
3. Philly cheesesteaks
A classic culinary item from the city of brotherly love, the Philly Cheesesteak is the perfect gameday fare. Tender beef strips, caramelised onions and peppers are topped with melted gooey cheese and loaded onto a toasted sub.
4. New York pastrami sandwiches
A signature of delis all across The Big Apple, New York pastrami sandwiches see a generous helping of thinly sliced seasoned pastrami piled high between two slices of sourdough rye bread slathered with spicy brown mustard.
5. London Series two-pint beer bat souvenir
There is nothing like a cold beer at a baseball game. Enjoy your refreshing drink of choice with a souvenir beer bat. Back by popular demand, this baseball-bat shaped cup holds two pints and is sure to turn heads.
All this will feature at Europe’s biggest ballpark alongside a range of other foods including burgers, donuts, American candy and much more.
If you haven’t bought your ticket yet, make sure to secure your seat at the ballpark and buy yours now.
