Whether it’s a pitcher throwing a perfect game or an immaculate inning, or a batter hitting for the cycle, baseball has no shortage of rare or memorable feats.

On May 22, Jazz Chisholm Jr. hit a leadoff home run for the Marlins in what ended up being a 1-0 victory over the Brewers. If a leadoff home run accounting for the only scoring in a 1-0 game sounds rare to you, it most certainly is.

According to the Elias Sports Bureau, Chisholm’s leadoff home run was the 30th time in the Modern Era (dating back to 1900) that it accounted for the only run in a 1-0 game. Here are all 30 such instances that have occurred in the National League, American League and the Federal League (1914-15).
