The Braves are bringing Royals slugger Jorge Soler to Atlanta, the clubs announced on Friday. Right-hander Kasey Kalich is headed back to Kansas City in the deal.

Soler led the American League in homers in 2019 with 48, though he also struck out an American League-leading 178 times. Soler was hitting .192 with 13 home runs in 94 games this season.
