The iconic pearl necklace worn by Braves outfielder Joc Pederson has a home in Cooperstown.

Pederson, who launched two pinch-hit home runs in the National League Division Series and added another homer in the NLCS, turned a fashion statement into a rally symbol for Braves fans throughout the team’s march to the 2021 World Series title. Following the Braves victory parade in Atlanta on Nov. 5, Pederson donated his pearl necklace to the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum.

For a limited time, the necklace can be viewed by fans who visit the Hall of Fame between the hours of 11 a.m. and noon Thursday through Saturday, Nov. 11-13. The opportunity to view the pearls is included with regular Museum admission.

Also arriving at the Museum is the cap worn by Clifton Park, N.Y., native Ian Anderson in Game 3 of the World Series when he tossed five no-hit innings for the Braves vs. the Astros.

Additional artifacts donated to the Hall of Fame from the 2021 Postseason include:

• Spikes worn by Braves Game 6 starter Max Fried, who pitched six shutout innings to earn the victory

• Batting helmet worn by World Series MVP Jorge Soler

• Bat used by Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman in Game 6 when he doubled and homered

• Glove used by NLCS MVP Eddie Rosario

• Spikes worn in Game 6 by Braves reliever Will Smith, who did not allow a run in 11 Postseason appearances

• Cap worn in Game 6 by Braves shortstop Dansby Swanson

• Jersey worn in Games 1 and 2 by Braves manager Brian Snitker

• Cap worn by Astros manager Dusty Baker during a regular season in which he led a record fifth different team to the Postseason

• Batting helmet worn by ALCS MVP Yordan Álvarez during the Postseason

In the coming weeks, these and other artifacts will go on display in the Museum’s Autumn Glory exhibit.

The Game 1 base stolen by the Braves’ Ozzie Albies also has a home at the Hall of Fame, where it will go on display in the Braves’ locker within the Museum’s Your Team Today exhibit. To commemorate the 10th year of “Steal a Base Steal a Taco” promotion, the Hall of Fame has partnered with Taco Bell® to bring the stolen base to Cooperstown.
