Major League Baseball has today announced GRAMMY Award-winning artist Jess Glynne as the headline music act at this year’s MLB World Tour: London Series 2024 Presented by Zoom Workplace.

The singer-songwriter, who has over 10 billion global streams throughout the course of her career, will be performing on Sunday, June 9, when the New York Mets will be taking on the Philadelphia Phillies in the second of their two-game series at London Stadium.

Jess Glynne has become a global sensation with hits such as "Hold My Hand," "Rather Be," and "Don't Be So Hard on Yourself." With multiple chart-topping singles and collaborations under her belt as well as two number 1, platinum-selling albums, Glynne has recently released her third studio album, JESS. An album six years in the making, the album features soulful ballads and quintessential pop anthems that have earned Jess the title of one of music’s most successful artists.

Glynne will be joined by a host of other musical acts over the course of the series weekend with MLB’s resident house band Soul Symphony returning for another year to bring the party atmosphere. For the Saturday’s game, special guests from the NHS National Choir will be performing both the UK and US national anthems. For Sunday’s game we will welcome Broadway musical star Marisha Wallace who will be singing her rendition of The Star-Spangled Banner, with Welsh classical singing sensation Katherine Jenkins singing God Save the King.

DJ Jamie Anne, who is known around the UK for performing at headline sporting events, will also be on-site entertaining the crowds. Jamie can usually be found on the decks at Manchester City where she is the resident stadium DJ.

The New York Mets and the Philadelphia Phillies represent one of the fiercest rivalries in baseball and will be sure to help make the 2024 series a spectacular event. The MLB World Tour: London Series is an event for all the family with world class baseball, high profile music events and traditional ballpark food, it’s not one to miss.

Previous acts who have performed at MLB World Tour: London Series include Craig David and Tom Walker who both performed in 2019 when the Boston Red Sox faced the New York Yankees.
