There was a festival atmosphere when the Hudson Valley Renegades -- High-A affiliate of the New York Yankees -- hosted "Bhutan Night" last week. That night, with the team donning special orange-and-yellow jerseys inspired by the Bhutanese flag -- complete with the "Druk" or iconic "Thunder Dragon" -- 12 young Bhutanese baseball and softball players got to take the field. Yes, in a small, mountainous region just to the south of Tibet, baseball is growing and the Renegades wanted to show their support for a baseball community half a world away.

"Inside Stitch" was there to capture the moment for a special new segment of the show. Watch the clip above for more about the remarkable experience for the young athletes.

"Inside Stitch," which focuses on baseball uniforms, design, and all the things players may wear on the ballfield, also recently returned with a new episode available for subscribers on MLB.TV.

This time around, the show visited the legendary Rickwood Field, where the Giants and Cardinals faced off earlier this year in a celebration of the Negro Leagues. While the Major League teams arrived in special uniforms -- the Giants in San Francisco Sea Lions unis and the Cardinals in St. Louis Stars togs -- Minor League teams joined in on the event, donning Birmingham Black Baron and Montgomery Gray Sox sets.

Next, slider specialist and Babe Ruth strikeout artist Adam Ottavino opened up his closet to walk us through his uniform history. You may be surprised to learn why his black Rockies jersey with the cutoff sleeves were so popular: The starting pitchers liked the lack of extra fabric over their arms!

Cy Young Award-winning pitcher Blake Snell then gives the crew a peek into the youth baseball team he coaches. Not only do they get insight from a current Major League star, but he helped design the unis for the Zilla National Team -- named in honor of Snell's nickname.

Finally, I have come up with a foolproof plan (note: very much not fool proof) to incentivize contact in the Majors: Make the gloves smaller! If you want baseball players to have a reason to hit the ball in play, then we should make sure the fielders are wearing the kind of simple mitts players were wearing during baseball's early days.
