San Francisco Giants staying on KTRB 860 AM ESPN Deportes Radio through 2019

The San Francisco Giants and KTRB 860 AM ESPN Deportes Radio have agreed to terms on a new five?year contract that will keep Giants games on ESPN Deportes Radio throughout the 2019 season. Giants' President and CEO Larry Baer and ESPN Deportes GM Michael Sher made the announcement today.

The San Francisco Giants will continue their rich, Hispanic heritage on the airwaves through a new partnership with KTRB 860 AM ESPN Deportes. 860 AM ESPN Deportes will carry a total of 103 broadcasts, including all 81 home games as well as road games versus the Los Angeles Dodgers, San Diego Padres and Oakland Athletics.  
     
KTRB 860 AM ESPN Deportes has one of the strongest broadcast signals in the San Francisco Bay Area. It can be heard throughout the Bay Area's nine counties and reaches into the San Joaquin Valley including Sacramento, Stockton and Modesto.

"KTRB has played an integral role in the recent success of our franchise and is an important link to our Hispanic fans throughout the season. It is only fitting we continue our partnership with KTRB ESPN Deportes as we strive to deliver the best baseball experience for all of our Hispanic fans."
The Giants broadcast team of Tito Fuentes and Erwin Higueros will call the games from the Giants' Spanish language broadcast booth - Fuentes for his 12th straight season and Higueros for his 18th season.

"It's been a fantastic ride during the first three years as the Giants Spanish Radio partner. You just can't beat two World Series Championships in our three years together," said Michael Sher, General Manager of 860 AM ESPN Deportes. "Our new five year agreement allows us to expand on our winning partnership while quenching the thirst of the Northern California Hispanic sports fans."
