Tree Lighting and Major League Experiences Headline Phillies Thanksgiving Weekend Events
Thousands of fans returned to Citizens Bank Park during Thanksgiving weekend for the team’s Holiday Shopping events!
The fun kicked off on Red Friday, November 24, with holiday photos in the Phillies dugout and special discounts at the New Era Phillies Team Store.
The team also hosted their Authentics Clubhouse Sale, giving fans the chance to take home signed and game-used baseballs, bases, jerseys, memorabilia and more.
The excitement continued Saturday with the Phillies Holiday Sale and Tree Lighting, which is the club’s biggest holiday shopping event of the year.
The free event included all-day holiday specials and sales, exclusive Phillies gifts, major league experiences, kids’ activities and photos with the Phanatic, Phillies broadcasters and World Series trophies.
Later that evening, Phanta Claus made a special entrance with the help of the local fire department for the annual Phillies tree lighting, which also featured 1993 National League Champion Mickey Morandini, broadcaster Gregg Murphy and NBC10 news anchors Erin Coleman and Keith Jones.
Also making a special appearance was Phillies Managing Partner and Chief Executive Officer John Middleton.
