Scenes from Phillies Thanksgiving Weekend Holiday Shopping Events
November 29-30, 2024 - Phanta Claus and special guests joined thousands of fans for holiday shopping and major league fun during Thanksgiving Weekend at Citizens Bank Park.
Highlights included Red Friday, featuring in-store only deals, holiday photos on the field, hot chocolate in the Phillies dugout, a meet and greet with Phillies broadcasters, and vintage and modern autographed items to put under the tree, courtesy of Hunt Auctions.
Also happening was the Phillies Authentics Clubhouse Sale, giving fans the the chance to shop for game-used items and unique memorabilia from the ballpark and Phillies clubhouse.
Then on Saturday, it was the team’s biggest shopping event of the year: the Phillies Holiday Sale. In addition to purchasing ballpark-exclusive gifts, fans got the chance to make ornaments from authenticated game dirt, take photos with the World Series trophies, and enjoy music by Celtic band RUNA, along with free sampling by Jim Beam, Coke, Coke Zero and Gold Peak Tea, and more.
The jam-packed weekend culminated with the annual Phillies tree and ballpark lighting, led by none other than Phanta Claus! Also taking part 2008 World Series champion coach and 1993 National League champion Milt Thompson, Phillies Ambassador Scott Palmer, and NBC10’s Keith Jones and Brenna Weick, who co-hosted the event.
