Gift wrapping party to benefit military families

Volunteers from the Phillies and SEI teamed up this week to host a holiday gift wrapping party at Citizens Bank Park. Hundreds of gifts, many of them Phillies-themed, were set up in the Media Room where an assembly line of volunteers wrapped them up.

The gifts will be given out at a Military Appreciation Holiday Party later this month at Citizens Bank Park.

The Phillies elves had some help from Phillies ambassadors Mickey Morandini, Dickie Noles and Milt Thompson, as well as the Phillie Phanatic and Phillies Ballgirls.

The special event was part of the Phillies Season of Giving presented by SEI.
