Tuesday, June 11
The Orioles beat the Atlanta Braves, 4-0, to record their sixth shutout of the year. In his first game back from the concussion Injured List, Jorge Mateo connected on his fourth home run of the season in the second inning to give the O’s a 3-0 lead. Austin Hays notched his first three-hit game of the year. Albert Suárez earned the win, throwing 5.1 scoreless innings.
Wednesday, June 12
The Orioles beat the Braves, 4-2, in Cade Povich’s Oriole Park debut. Povich did not factor in the decision, throwing 6.0 scoreless innings, allowing five hits and striking out six. Colton Cowser hit his eighth home run of the year in the eighth inning after entering as a defensive replacement, breaking a tie and giving the O’s a 4-2 lead. Craig Kimbrel got the save, striking out Jarred Kelenic for the 1,226th strikeout of his career and breaking a tie with Lee Smith for the third-most strikeouts by a reliever in MLB history.
Thursday, June 13
Cole Irvin recorded eight strikeouts over 5.2 innings, his most strikeouts in an outing since joining the O’s. Kyle Stowers hit a three-run home run in the seventh inning, his first home run of the year and first since September 29, 2022, at Boston.
Friday, June 14
The Orioles started a three-game set against the Philadelphia Phillies with 43,987 fans in attendance, marking the second sold out crowd at Oriole Park this year. Anthony Santander notched his 15th home run of the year in the eighth inning to tie the game. Santander’s four game-tying or go-ahead homers in the eighth inning-or-later this year lead MLB. Keegan Akin entered in relief in the sixth inning, throwing 3.0 perfect innings.
Saturday, June 15
The Orioles beat the Phillies, 6-2, to tie the series at 1-1. Anthony Santander recorded his 14th career multi-homer game, tied for the eighth-most in Orioles history. His home run in the eighth inning marked the 71st of his career at Oriole Park, tied with Chris Hoiles for the 10th-most in ballpark history. His eight home runs this month are the most in MLB. Grayson Rodriguez earned the win, allowing just two runs and striking out six over 7.0 innings of work. It marked the third time in his career throwing at least 7.0 innings. Gunnar Henderson extended his MLB-best on-base streak to 23 consecutive games dating back to May 22. With 44,555 fans in attendance, the Orioles eclipsed the 1-million fan mark in their 38th home game this year.
Sunday, June 16
The Orioles beat the Phillies, 8-3, to win the series and finish the homestand 4-2. Corbin Burnes earned the win, allowing two runs on seven hits while striking out seven over 6.0 innings, marking his 10th straight quality start. His five-game winning streak is tied for the longest active streak in Major League Baseball. Gunnar Henderson, Colton Cowser, Jordan Westburg, and Adley Rutschman all homered in the win. Orioles’ batters have now homered in 16 consecutive games, the longest streak in MLB this season.
