The Dodgers continue to marry winning with development better than any big league organization. They've made the playoffs for nine straight years, notching a franchise-record 106 victories in each of their last two full seasons, sandwiched around a World Series title and a franchise-record .717 winning percentage in 2020.

While Los Angeles can outspend every other club -- and it has in each of the last two seasons, including a $262 million payroll in 2021 -- it also seems to have a never-ending supply of young talent. The Dodgers have integrated former Top 100 Prospects Cody Bellinger, Walker Buehler, Will Smith and Julio Urías into key roles in the Majors. They've used others such as Jeter Downs, Josiah Gray, Keibert Ruiz and Alex Verdugo in blockbuster deals for Mookie Betts, Max Scherzer and Trea Turner.

There are more coming. MLB Pipeline's new Top 100 Prospects list includes five Dodgers in catcher Diego Cartaya, right-hander Bobby Miller, infielders Michael Busch and Miguel Vargas and outfielder Andy Pages, all of whom ascended to the list in the past year. Infielders Eddys Leonard and Jorbit Vivas and outfielder Jose Ramos -- all international signees -- broke out in 2021 and could crack the Top 100 in the near future. So could several pitchers selected in the last two drafts, led by Landon Knack and Maddux Bruns.

Biggest jump/fall
Here are the players whose ranks changed the most from the 2021 preseason list to the 2022 preseason list.

Jump: Eddys Leonard, INF (2021: NR | 2022: 8) -- A versatile athlete, he hit .297/.390/.539 with 22 homers as a 20-year-old in his first extended foray into full-season ball.

Fall: Kody Hoese, 3B (2021: 4 | 2022: 24) -- The 2019 first-rounder tried to play through a left intercostal strain and tried to do too much at the plate, resulting in a .188/.241/.245 line in Double-A.
