Dodgers activate Cingrani, option Liberatore
Goeddel also joins roster with Venditte going to Triple-A

WASHINGTON -- The Dodgers activated left-hander Tony Cingrani (left shoulder inflammation) from the 10-day disabled list and optioned southpaw Adam Liberatore to Triple-A Oklahoma City before the start of Saturday's doubleheader against the Nationals at Nationals Park.
Other transactions are on deck. Right-hander Yimi Garcia will be the 26th man in the second game of the split doubleheader scheduled for 5:05 p.m. PT, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said.
The Dodgers activated right-hander Erik Goeddel for the second game and optioned ambidextrous pitcher Pat Venditte to Triple-A. Los Angeles claimed Goeddel off waivers from the Mariners on Friday.
Cingrani is 0-2 with a 5.79 ERA in 18 outings this season. Roberts believes the left-hander can go a full inning if needed, based on having thrown a 40-pitch bullpen session three days ago. Liberatore went 1-1 with a 3.38 ERA in 12 appearances.
