Casali homers in first at-bat for Reds
SAN DIEGO -- Reds catcher Curt Casali didn't take long to even the ledger against the Padres in Saturday's 8-2 loss at Petco Park.
Casali, who was acquired from the Rays on Thursday, homered in his first at-bat for his new club in the second inning.

His high toss to first baseman Joey Votto allowed Travis Jankowski to reach safely. Jankowski came around on a stolen base, wild pitch and a sacrifice fly. </p.>
Casali also walked and singled, finshing the night 2-for-3.
His role with the Reds will be as Tucker Barnhart's backup.
