Cubs president Kenney thanks fans on Presidents' Day

MESA, Ariz. -- There's been a buzz of excitement among Cubs fans about the upcoming season. On Presidents' Day, Cubs president of business operations Crane Kenney has three messages for the team's fan base for 2015, including a thank you:

• "Thank you to all of our fans for the tremendous outpouring of support and helping us honor the life and legacy of our beloved Mr. Cub, Ernie Banks. We'll all be playing for Ernie in 2015."

• "We are excited to bring Phase I of the restoration and expansion of Wrigley Field on line in 2015, improving the player and fan experience in the ballpark."

• "We're also happy to welcome Joe Maddon, Jon Lester and all of the new Cubs to Chicago. It's going to be an exciting year!"
