Here's MLB Pipeline's roundup of the top prospect performances in the Minor Leagues on Friday.
Astros prospects Corbin Martin and Brett Adcock were about as locked in and dominant as a duo could be in Class A Advanced Buies Creek's 4-0 win over Frederick.
The pitchers, Houston's Nos. 10 and No. 28 prospects, combined for 14 strikeouts over nine scoreless innings.
Martin got the start, giving up one hit and striking out five over five innings, continuing what has been an early season trend. The right-hander has been nothing short of spectacular this season, giving up just one unearned run across 19 innings (four games, three starts).

While Adcock hasn't been quite as good as Martin this season, he's off to a strong start as well. After striking out nine over four frames, the lefty has a 1.65 ERA and 21 strikeouts in 16 1/3 innings.
Other top prospect performances from Friday's action:
• No. 7 overall prospect Nick Senzel (Reds' No. 2) hit his second homer of the season for Triple-A Louisville. Senzel, who got off to a slow start this season, hit a two-run blast in the first inning and ultimately finished with a season-high three hits in a 3-for-4, three-RBI performance.

• No. 43 overall prospect Austin Meadows (Pirates' No. 2) fell just short of the cycle but still put together one of his best games of the season, going 4-for-6 with three RBIs for Triple-A Indianapolis. Meadows singled in the first, hit his first homer of the year in the fourth, collected an RBI single in the fifth and drove in another run with a double in the sixth.

• Athletics prospects James Naile (No. 24) and Wyatt Marks (No. 25) put together strong outings for Triple-A Nashville and Class A Beloit. Naile, despite giving up one run in seven innings, was stuck with a loss, but that hardly takes away from the fact that the right-hander turned in a quality start and has allowed one run or fewer in four of his five starts. Marks, who picked up his third win of the year for Beloit, matched his season high with nine strikeouts in just 4 2/3 innings. The 2017 13th-round Draft pick threw 43 of his 66 pitches for strikes, walked one and gave up two hits.
• Blue Jays No. 10 prospect Sean Reid-Foley had everything working as he cruised through five scoreless innings with Double-A New Hampshire. The right-hander notched a season-high eight strikeouts and gave up just two hits as he fired 52 of his 87 pitches for strikes.
• A Braves pitching prospect puts up a gem seemingly every day, and on Friday it was No. 12 Kyle Muller. The lefty has given up one earned run or fewer in four straight starts after throwing six innings of one-run ball for Class A Rome. Muller fired 52 of his 88 pitches for strikes, yielded three hits and struck out six.
• Brewers No. 11 prospect Mauricio Dubon wasted no time extending his hitting streak to 16 games as he hit his third homer of the season in the first inning for Triple-A Colorado Springs. The 23-year-old finished 2-for-6 and has multiple hits in three straight games.
• Mets No. 4 prospect Peter Alonso continues to rake for Double-A Binghamton as he went 3-for-4 in his third straight multi-hit game. Alonso also drove in three runs, two of which came via his fifth homer of the season and second in as many games.

• Orioles No. 4 prospect Hunter Harvey, who has dealt with numerous injury issues over the past few years, put together his longest outing since July 25, 2015, throwing four innings for Double-A Bowie. Harvey cruised through the outing as he surrendered just two hits and struck out six without yielding a run.
• Phillies prospects Roman Quinn (No. 15) and Cole Irvin (No. 24) led Triple-A Lehigh Valley to a win with strong performances at the plate and on the mound. Quinn, hitting atop the IronPigs lineup, highlighted a five-run second inning with his first homer of the year -- a grand slam -- on his way to a 2-for-4 night. On the mound, Irvin picked up his first win as he put up nothing but zeros for six innings.
• Dodgers No. 13 prospect Gavin Lux set a career high with five RBIs in Class A Advanced Rancho Cucamonga's win over Lancaster. The 21-year-old is batting .286 on the year after going 3-for-5 with his first homer of the year. Lux drove in two with a the home run in the fifth inning, drew a bases-loaded walk in the seventh and came through with a two-run single in the ninth.
• Pirates No. 16 prospect Calvin Mitchell continued to rake for Class A West Virginia, extending his hitting streak to 13 games with a 4-for-5 showing. Mitchell, who has boosted his average from .258 to .381 during the streak, had a pair of doubles and drove in a run in what was already his eighth multi-hit game this season.

• Reds No. 21 prospect Keury Mella was nearly untouchable for Double-A Pensacola, and he absolutely needed to be as the Blue Wahoos clung to a 1-0 win. The right-hander, who has a 1.00 ERA through five starts, gave up just three hits as he struck out nine in seven scoreless innings. Mella threw 59 of his 89 pitches for strikes and only allowed one runner past second base.
