Connor Powers' Baseball Trick Shots

San Diego Padres prospect Connor Powers has yet to play a game in the Majors. But he is already on the way to becoming a YouTube sensation. In one of the first baseball trick shots videos to surface, the Illinois native shows off his pinpoint hitting skills, knocking balls off batting nets, walls, street cones and garbage cans. Watch closely and rewind if needed; you may have missed where the ball actually ends up.

Powers has more than just circus-like hitting skills, though, as he won the 2009 Cape Cod League All-Star Home Run Derby held at Fenway Park. And if he can generate this kind of ball placement in game action, we will see him placing some balls over the walls of Petco Park for the Padres in no time.
