Orange powers top of Hall of Fame Power Poll
LUBBOCK, Texas – As the 2022 college baseball season approaches the home stretch, it’s the various shades of orange that are dominating the top of the Week 10 National College Baseball Hall of Fame Power Poll. For the fifth straight week, the Tennessee Volunteers hold the No. 1 spot, but a different shade of orange is hot on the Volunteers’ heels.
Tennessee garnered all six first-place votes to lead the pack, but Oregon State also earned all second-place votes to come in just six points behind the Vols in the No. 2 spot. After that comes more orange in the form of Miami, which jumps a spot to No. 3 followed by No. 4 Vanderbilt and No. 5 Arkansas, which slides two spots after dropping a weekend series to Texas A&M. Oklahoma State falls nine spots to No. 15 after losing twice to TCU at home over the weekend.
Once again, two more teams make their debut in the poll. Speaking of the aforementioned Aggies, Texas A&M jumps into the poll at No. 25 while Auburn, fresh off a weekend sweep of South Carolina, comes in at No. 21.
North Carolina State and Ole Miss exit this week’s poll.
Dropped out: North Carolina State, Ole Miss
