For White Sox prospects, a journey through the Chicago system is spent mostly in North Carolina with a stop in Alabama before heading to Illinois. The Single-A, High-A and Triple-A ballparks sit within 100 miles of each other in the central part of the Tar Heel State. The Winston-Salem and Charlotte stadiums even share a namesake of Truist Financial.
