A "bouncing ball between the legs" usually brings a specific Mets memory to mind. But a bouncing ball between the legs of a hitter, directly into the glove of the catcher? You've probably never seen it before, but it happened in Tuesday night's Mets-Phillies tilt.

Somehow Michael Conforto was able to contort his body out of the way of an errant pitch from Brandon Kintzler that looked a lot like an Elevator Ball straight out of Backyard Baseball. The ball tunneled between Conforto's legs and J.T. Realmuto was able to keep his eye on it and snag it on the backhand, preventing Brandon Nimmo, who was on second base, from advancing.

Despite Realmuto's slick glovework, Nimmo only stayed put briefly. Conforto roped an RBI double to give the Mets a comfortable lead en route to their 8-4 victory.
