Bryce Harper to the rescue!

The Phillies superstar went into full dad mode when he saw a crying young fan prior to Philadelphia’s game against the Royals at Citizens Bank Park on Saturday evening. According to Taryn Hatcher of NBC Sports Philadelphia, the boy had gotten separated from his brothers while taking part in the Phillies’ photo night promotion, an opportunity for fans to line up along the edge of the field to meet and take pictures with Phils players and coaches.

Harper, who has two kids of his own, not only comforted the youngster but also helped him reunite with his family. Now all smiles, the boy even got to join in as Harper snapped a selfie with the trio.

As a bonus, Harper went 3-for-4 with a homer as the Phillies pulled off a comeback win over Kansas City, scoring six unanswered runs in a 9-6 victory.
